i watched most of your stream, and on gimp, how do you make it so the pencil tool doesn't fade out, mine always does

noticed there is a box in the pencil selections that says "fade out". You should probably have that unselected. xD Hopefully that's the problem.

the pencil tool should be solid..

On the eraser, I have to select "hard edge" to make it solid, so maybe your version of GIMP requires you do the same thing to pencil?
